Dr. Jena

Evergreen Center for Integrative Medicine - Naturopathic Physician

I have a background in psychology and counseling, and an undergraduate degree in Psychology with double minors in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry.  My medical degree is from Bastyr University, the leading Medical School in the country for the study of Naturopathic Medicine.  My post graduate residency was at the Evergreen Center for Integrative Medicine, and I have spent many hours studying with top physicians in Naturopathic Pediatrics, Chronic Fatigue/Lyme Disease/Chronic infectious disease, and Autism.  I treat many patients with GI disorders, including Celiac Disease.  Please see my website for a more comprehensive list of conditions I treat.  I am a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, the Washington Association of Naturopathic Physicians, and Physicians for Social Responsibility.

As a Naturopathic Physician, I can fulfill a number of functions for my patients.  Licenced as a primary care physician, I can take care of families for all of their primary care medical needs, at all stages of life.  In addition, I have the wonderful scope of practice to offer specialty care in alternative medicine options.  I absolutely LOVE what I do, and enjoy getting to know my patients.  For me, it is the practice of medicine, the practice of seeing the whole person, that is exciting, and ultimately leads to healing.

Your first office call is 1 hour, and follow ups are 1/2 hour - this means that I take the time to get to know you and to hear your concerns.  Together we will find a solution!   Covered by most insurance plans.
