Ballard Acupuncture Center - Acupuncturist
Avigail Cohen L.Ac. is a licensed acupuncturist in Washington State. I am nationally certified and a member of the Washington Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Association. I graduated from the Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 2003 with a Masters in Acupuncture.
I specialize in Pain Management and Women's Health. I works with fertility patients who are trying to get pregnant naturally and with those who are using IVF. I work with women throughout their pregnancies to help with morning sickness, low back pain, breech babies, migraines and any other discomforts the mom may be suffering from. Regular acupuncture during a pregnancy can help with overall wellness and well being for the mom and baby. Women who receive acupuncture during their pregnancies often have easier pregnancies and on time deliveries.
I treat pain with a method called Richard Tan. It is a system that treats pain distally. So for example if you have shoulder pain I will most likely treat your feet and legs depending on what energetic channel is affected. I can treat any kind of pain from Headaches, shoulder pain, back pain, wrist pain, menstrual cramps, sinus pain, IBS & plantar fascitis.
